Trunk or Treat and our Costume Parade are ONE WEEK AWAY!

Thank you to those who have signed up to host a table for our "Trunk" or Treat! There's still room for more folks to join us! If you'd like to host a table, look for the event on our Class Dojo Events calendar and click to sign up.

Remember that we are actually setting up at table space in the gym rather than setting up in trunks. We have a few tables available, but please bring your own if you have one.

We currently have 183 students enrolled, so hosts should plan to provide candy or treats for that many students.

Students MAY wear costumes on Friday. They may only wear masks with their costume during our Trunk or Treat and the Costume Parade. Students should wear tennis shoes. They may want to bring a change of clothes in case they get tired of wearing their costume throughout the day.

It is almost Book Fair time!! Students will preview this Friday or next Monday during their library class time. They'll be able to shop on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday morning from 7-7:40am or Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon from 1:30-2pm. They may also shop with a loved one following our Lunch with a Loved One event on Thursday, October 29.

Don't forget that we're going semi-coinless. Cash purchases will be rounded up to the next dollar if you're not paying with exact change.

If you'd like to avoid using cash altogether, you can set up an eWallet for your child. https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/nancyreynoldselemsch

The NRES Fall Festival will be held on November 6 from 5pm to 7pm. This is a PTO fundraiser that will provide things for our students and staff throughout the school year. To keep expenses low, the PTO is requesting donations of a few things for our festival. They'd like individually wrapped candies to be given as prizes for the games, single serving packs of snack chips, and canned soft drinks for concessions, and gift cards or other items to be included in raffle baskets.

If you have any items you'd like to donate, Mrs. Kelly will be collecting them in the office from now through October 30.

Thank you for any help you can provide!
