Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair is just a few weeks away.
The Book Fair will be set up in the library Oct. 23-29. Students will have an opportunity to preview the fair during their library class on Friday, Oct. 23 and Monday, Oct. 26. They'll be able to shop on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7-7:45am or 1:30-2pm, as well as Thursday from 7-7:45am and following lunch with a loved one.
Lunch with a Loved One Forms have been shared with classroom teachers and will be sent home soon. RSVPs are due on Oct. 15 so that Mrs. Angie knows how much food to order and prepare. Guest lunches cost $4 per person.
Due to the discontinuation of the U.S. penny, our Book Fair will be going semi-coinless for cash purchases.
If you are paying with cash, you may:
Pay with exact change, or
Choose to round your total up to the next whole dollar.
Any amount added through rounding will be donated directly to Share the Fair to help support students in our school community.
Please note: Electronic and card payments will continue to be charged to the exact cent.
Thank you for supporting our Book Fair and helping us Share the Fair with our school community!
If you'd like to set up a digital payment option for your child, you may create an eWallet.
Create your child’s Book Fair eWallet so they can shop cash-free, worry-free, and independently! It’s easy to set up and easy for others to contribute funds! Start here: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/nancyreynoldselemsch. #ScholasticBookFairs

“In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” ~ Dolly Parton
We honored Dolly today, 9/25, by dressing in pink. Our wonderful PTO showed kindness and treated our staff with all things pink and Dolly. 🦋💖

Thank you to all who supported our school by purchasing and selling the chocolate bars. We raised right at $5,500 for our school with this fundraiser.
Our top seller was Emmy Dodson who sold ten boxes of candy bars! She won the $100 prize.
And, because we met our goal, Mr. Richardson and Mrs. Kelly had to kiss a pig. Thanks to the Butcher family for allowing us to use their pig for the occasion.

🛑 STOP Means STOP 🛑
Keeping our students safe is everyone’s responsibility. When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, drivers must STOP and stay stopped.
Passing a stopped school bus isn’t just dangerous—it’s against the law and can have life-changing consequences. A few extra seconds of patience can protect a child’s life.
🚌 See the lights. See the stop arm. STOP.
❤️ Kids ride. Communities thrive.
Please help us spread the word by sharing this important reminder with friends, family, and fellow drivers.

Our character trait for the month of September is Personal Responsibility. We are so proud to celebrate the Dragons who have demonstrated what it means to take responsibility, make good choices, and be accountable for their actions.
Congratulations to last week’s Winners!
Each winner will have the honor of proudly wearing our new Dragon necklace throughout this entire week. We are excited to celebrate these Dragons and the positive examples they set for others each day!
