In honor of Read Across America Week, we invited the Musical Theater Class from South Stokes High School to share a production with us. They've been working on Junie B. Jones the Musical and shared it with us. The full production, complete with set and full costumes will be presented in May at their auditorium. Thank you to Mr. Bulla and the students in this class for joining us and helping one of our beloved book characters come to life!

There were lots of fun socks for Read Across America Week- Books Knock our Socks off day. Here are a few of them.

We love it when folks join us during Read Across America Week. Thank you to Ms. Kimberly Boles for sharing the story of how Grandmother Spider Stole the Sun with us today.

Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair begins next week!
Students will be able to preview the fair on Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16 during their library class time.
They'll be able to shop during Math Madness: The Big Dance, as well as Tuesday, March 17, Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 19.
Don’t forget! Create a Book Fair eWallet for your child NOW so they can shop cash-free, worry-free, and independently! It’s easy to set up and easy for others to contribute funds!

Our Battle of the Books Team competed today in the last of three semi-final rounds for this year's Battle of the Books Competition in Stokes County. They competed against London Elementary and Walnut Cove Elementary. The battle was close, with only two points separating the first and second place teams. Our team did a great job representing Nancy Reynolds. Oh, and, we brought home BLUE RIBBONS!!!
We earned FIRST PLACE in today's battle and will represent Dragon Country again in the District Finals on March 12. We'll have the home court advantage as the finals battle will be held in the NRES auditorium.
Congratulations BOB Team! We are so very proud of each of you!
It is a GREAT DAY to be a Dragon!!
